i need help capturing a screen shot from a video played in windows media player. i googled it and followed the steps (instructions) but my print screen button doesn't seem to work. anybody willing to help me out?

yeah, a regular screen capture won't work. I never could figure out if it was to try to protect copyrights? or its because the capture can't work alongside the video decoder. you're gonna need something like FrameShots.

In Media Player, go to Tools->Options->Performance, and turn hardware acceleration off completely.

Reopen media player, and the Print-Screen button will work.

Re-enable hardware acceleration when you are done, so your videos will play smoothly.
