the acc being down has nothing to do with an individual team. Duke is still duke. They will get there loss it was a matter of time. We're still ok and maybe being further in the ranking will make us play like we don't deserve to be that low. Following state, we never play well when we are a heavy favorite to go further

Not to be a hater, but we've been playing poorly and Clemson is always tough at home.

Not to mention we struggle against athletic teams, and Clemson has a lot of athleticism.

Givens:
Clemson misses a lot of FT's.
Evtimov gets scored on at will.
Herb gets outcoached.

since duke, teams have figured out how to play us -- just pressure the perimeter and live with whatever ced gets inside.

It works because most of the time we can't get the entry pass, and they just outscore us on the other end. We are also turning it over as a result of pressure.

We have yet to demonstrate how we can defeat this type of defense. To add insult to injury, the guys are so flaky, they just start jacking up 3s at the end of halfs because if they can't run the offense, they don't know what the hell else to do (such as play basketball)

perhaps you missed our other losses - unc, iowa, seton hall did well at taking away the 3 (unc - when it mattered the most)

pressure defense = death. wake would have done the same thing, but they fail at everything in life

Everyone should keep in mind that this is NC State. We're going to beat teams that we shouldn't and we're going to lose to teams that we shouldn't. Herb runs a Jeckyl & Hyde program, the kind of program whose players making fucking stupid decisions and consistently blow opportunities at the end of games.

Rally is right, I expect to lose to Clemson.

We won't lose to Clemson. I think this is a different team than in years past. We haven't lost two straight yet this year. When we lost to Carolina, we came back and beat the shit out of BC (which is looking like an even better win because they have won 3 straight in the ACC and are right behind us). When we lost to Duke, we came back and beat the shit out of Wake. We'll see what happens, but I don't see us losing this one. Hopefully I'm not wrong...
