its a blaupunkt mp3000, probably 3+ years old. ive had file errors in the past, but im pretty sure that was because of the disc, and as soon as i put a new one in, everything would work fine.

it didnt stop working when i put in a new cd, rather it stopped working while i was listening to one. i tried other cds that ive listened to before and now none work at all.i might just get an adapter for my mp3 player instead of fixing it if this is broken.

try regular music CDs (if you have any)

or try a CO2 duster, usually if it loads and ejects corectly. and spins up, its gonna be dust on the lens
