This is about someone asking the president;

"You would love Brokeback Mountain, Mr President, have you seen it?"

He said he hadnt.

But you forgot the funny part!

He fumbled around a little bit in responding and moving on to the next question!!!!!

that has never happened before, so that must have really got his goat!!!!

Props to the President for fielding a long, unscripted Q&A session at a University in this political climate. The topic of gay cowboys was untouchable for him, understandably.

Haha, those clips were funny.

It's weird though... the chick with the heavy spanish accent asked about discrimination, and the guy with the terrorist-sounding accent asked about nuclear weapons.

It's incredible how low the bar's dropped.

He spoke to us! Unscripted!

It represents a departure from the stonewalling that we're accustomed to from this administration, and I appreciate it.

ps You didn't see Clinton taking unscripted questions during the Lewinsky fiasco or the lowpoints in his popularity.

^^ He testified under oath though, you don't see Bush doing that. And Clinton knew he was lying!

Yes, I was very impressed with Clinton's audacity to lie under oath.

However, Bush's willingness to lie repeatedly in public addresses and then defend his power to lie is much more impressive, IMO.

Are you kidding? This was another completely screened audience. No admittance for American citizens to see their president or ask him questions if they don't agree with him.

Completely indefensible, bordering on fascist.

Dudes, I'm totally with jackleg on this one. There is nothing funny or interesting about this. The president did not get punked. It was immature and juvenile. Like, I can't believe that someone wasted a question on that. I know most of the questions were wasted as well, but come on, guys, what's so funny about this?

Whats funny is that he knew it was about gay cowboys. He knew the plot.

He responded "Id be happy to talk about ranching" .... He knew it was about cowboys. But it was easier to dodge the question by pretending he hasnt heard about the movie.

What was he supposed to say? "Oh, you mean that movie about the cowboy lovers? Nah, I haven't caught that yet. I'm waiting for it on NetFlix so I can fast forward through the sex scenes."

His incoherent response. I especially enjoyed his use of the pluperfect tense instead of the perfect tense. He "hadn't seen" the movie as of when?

Isn't it sad that the mere mention of a movie with buttsex is enough to completely throw off the leader of the free world? I mean, he ended the fucking session after the next question.

DUDES, IT'S SEX. SOME PEOPLE ARE UNCOMFORTABLE TALKING ABOUT IT. ESPECIALLY ON CAMERA IN FRONT OF AN AUDIENCE.

AND AGAIN:

What was his response to the question supposed to be?

It's not sex. If he had been asked about some heterosexual romance film, he wouldn't have been nearly that flustered.

Something coherent?

"No, I haven't seen it."

That would have been fine. None of that, "I hope you go..." crap.
