the President is your hero? awesome.
1/24/2006 11:32:20 PM
a small discussion of it herehttp://www.thewolfweb.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=359505&page=4

This is about someone asking the president;"You would love Brokeback Mountain, Mr President, have you seen it?"He said he hadnt.[Edited on January 24, 2006 at 11:54 PM. Reason : =]
1/24/2006 11:52:40 PM
But you forgot the funny part!He fumbled around a little bit in responding and moving on to the next question!!!!!that has never happened before, so that must have really got his goat!!!!
1/24/2006 11:55:19 PM
Props to the President for fielding a long, unscripted Q&A session at a University in this political climate. The topic of gay cowboys was untouchable for him, understandably.
1/25/2006 12:15:31 AM
Haha, those clips were funny. It's weird though... the chick with the heavy spanish accent asked about discrimination, and the guy with the terrorist-sounding accent asked about nuclear weapons.
1/25/2006 12:30:37 AM
^^I am not a Bush fan but I agree

^^ Yeah, it's just like gas prices... yay, $2.20/gallon!
1/25/2006 12:38:18 AM
It represents a departure from the stonewalling that we're accustomed to from this administration, and I appreciate it.ps You didn't see Clinton taking unscripted questions during the Lewinsky fiasco or the lowpoints in his popularity.
1/25/2006 12:38:30 AM
He said he would talk about ranching.
1/25/2006 12:40:54 AM
^^ He testified under oath though, you don't see Bush doing that. And Clinton knew he was lying![Edited on January 25, 2006 at 12:41 AM. Reason : ]
1/25/2006 12:41:11 AM
Yes, I was very impressed with Clinton's audacity to lie under oath. However, Bush's willingness to lie repeatedly in public addresses and then defend his power to lie is much more impressive, IMO.
1/25/2006 12:44:01 AM
I have to agree

SEE?????? SEE?THIS IS JUST PROOF THAT THE LIBERALS ARE TRYING TO FORCE GOOD, GOD FEARING PEOPLE TO ACCEPT AND CELEBRATE THE SIN OF HOMOSEXUALITY[Edited on January 25, 2006 at 10:46 AM. Reason : that's all this story is, talk radio fodder]
1/25/2006 10:42:59 AM

1/25/2006 11:01:35 AM
This just seems really immature.
1/25/2006 11:17:00 AM
PUNKING THE PREZ IS NOT IMMATURE
1/25/2006 2:37:49 PM
1/25/2006 3:53:43 PM
and when an "unfiltered" question was posed, he acted like he didn't hear it!http://www.crooksandliars.com/2006/01/25.html#a6850
1/25/2006 3:55:46 PM
how juvenille. im gonna turn into a republican just because im so embarassed by shit like this.
1/26/2006 6:21:27 AM
the guy that asked that was most likely a Republican
1/26/2006 6:26:46 AM
well then im gonna turn into a democrat
1/26/2006 6:30:10 AM
Dudes, I'm totally with jackleg on this one. There is nothing funny or interesting about this. The president did not get punked. It was immature and juvenile. Like, I can't believe that someone wasted a question on that. I know most of the questions were wasted as well, but come on, guys, what's so funny about this?
1/26/2006 12:26:35 PM
Whats funny is that he knew it was about gay cowboys. He knew the plot. He responded "Id be happy to talk about ranching" .... He knew it was about cowboys. But it was easier to dodge the question by pretending he hasnt heard about the movie.
1/26/2006 12:29:23 PM
What was he supposed to say? "Oh, you mean that movie about the cowboy lovers? Nah, I haven't caught that yet. I'm waiting for it on NetFlix so I can fast forward through the sex scenes."
1/26/2006 12:32:48 PM
I don't have any problem with somebody trying to point out how homophobic the president is.
1/26/2006 12:36:12 PM
1/26/2006 12:38:07 PM
Isn't it sad that the mere mention of a movie with buttsex is enough to completely throw off the leader of the free world? I mean, he ended the fucking session after the next question.
1/26/2006 12:40:47 PM
Well BUTTSECKS is a threat to freedom...
1/26/2006 12:42:04 PM
DUDES, IT'S SEX. SOME PEOPLE ARE UNCOMFORTABLE TALKING ABOUT IT. ESPECIALLY ON CAMERA IN FRONT OF AN AUDIENCE.AND AGAIN:What was his response to the question supposed to be?
1/26/2006 2:22:54 PM
It's not sex. If he had been asked about some heterosexual romance film, he wouldn't have been nearly that flustered.
