I uploaded the 2006 Summer Session schedules to the web.

[link]sum 1 - http://www2.acs.ncsu.edu/reg_records/tracs_bk/sum1/courses/directory.html[/link]
[link]sum 2 - http://www2.acs.ncsu.edu/reg_records/tracs_bk/sum2/courses/directory.html[/link]

As you know, departments can change courses at any time. Additionally, we have to add some more footnotes to the existing schedule.

I hope some departments are going to send in more course offerings.

Because the English ones above the 200 level don't leave much selection.

as far as DE, we do already have some listed, but typically they are added later than the on-campus listings.

and for additional listings, i wouldn't count on things being added. but then again it is a long time between now and May 22.

right now the departments should be working on their fall schedules (instead of adding to summer) so we can post those soon.

^^ it is departmental choice. if you are looking for something specific such as ENG 332 - ask the ENG department.

^ It usually shows up 2-3 days after it goes up on R&R's site.

i've heard this is mainly because a lot of students that are staying to take summer classes may also be working, so it leaves the rest of the day open to work.

DE has their listing up .... some courses will appear on our schedule of courses .... some won't.

DE doesn't officially add a course until they have all their ducks in a row so to speak.

and any clue why there aren't any ENG 101 classes?

[Edited on January 26, 2006 at 11:10 AM. Reason : hmmm...they're still addnig classes]

^^ I think the ten week courses are listed at the very bottom of the course listing (for each department) for summer 1. Should say something like "Ten Week Courses:" and then a list of all of them, if I recall correctly.

all ten week courses are listed as part of the first summer session listing and are section 051.

between a low freshman fall semester gpa & a few major changes, i've always done summer courses to bring up gpa/graduate on time. I'm looking forward to summer 06 being the first one off from school since b4 I came to State.

^ I'd highly recommend it. They're over before you know it...that's the best part about 'em. And they're easy compared on normal full-length spring/fall courses.

I really hope they add more 1-st summer session only DE courses...

i miss living on campus during the summer... metcalf was small but it was the closest to classes i ever lived (back in the good old days when they had an operating tunnel nearby). small classes & they are always easier over the summer regardless of what kind of class. easier to remember things on a final exam when the class only started about 5 weeks ago. no on campus traffic, much more parking. combined with the summer atmosphere, it always made for a really nice experience.
