The department I work for at NCSU is looking for some help! We need to know if on your diploma when you graduated-IF YOU HAD A CONCENTRATION- did it say it on your diploma?
For example-if you majored in Botany, with a Plant Disease Concentration, did it state that concentration on your diploma?

My diploma says what my degree audit key says. If it said anything more or less, I would be highly upset. Botany does not have a "Plant Disease Concentration" listed on the degree keys. Chemical Engineering has several listed.

Getting a new official degree key ... meh, I dunno how much work it is, but I wouldn't want to do it.

my major was animal science, but i had a concentration in nutrition (not a minor) and no it's not on the degree. i wouldn't expect it to be either...

I was a business management degree and it did not say my concentration or my spanish minor

i thought they asked about this on the blue cards and departmental graduation sheets...
maybe i'm imagining things but i thought some buddies had it on theirs..
i personally didn't b/c i didn't have a concentration/minor

i spoke with the Registar and with the Graduation Coordinator and both say that they could not think of any undergraduate diplomas that list concentrations. (FYI - I work at Registration and Records)

if you are an undergraduate and can prove me/them wrong, please PM me.

^^they might ask about it, but that doesn't mean it's going on your diploma. they asked about which classes you needed to graduate, but they didn't print that on the diploma...

I heard some people say they wouldn't want concentrations, but if for example you were studying philosophy (with a concentration on philosophy of law) and going to law school, then you might want your concentration listed.

it would have to be a university decision, not something that a department could request.
