If they read sports talk, and think anyone that posts in here is serious, with the exception of about 3 people on this board, then they have another thing comming to them

So far Sean Berton(packplayer), is the only known poster that used to occasionally post on the site to my knowledge. I am sure from time to time others have browsed or at least know TWW exist. It’s probably a small number though.

i think it'd be sweet if they were on here, and posted. they could give their insight to important things that happened during a game, or could let us know things that we could do differently at the games.

it'd be great if they stayed away from TWW during the last 5 minutes of basketball games

^^hopefully in the last 5 minutes, they choose to stay in the game

though I can see braxton albritton hooking up some wireless TWW on the bench
"guys, sendek just called the stupidest play ever. watch this shit blow up!!"

answer me this...

how in the the hell could reading Sports Talk HELP an NC State varsity athlete?

do a bunch of shit-talking internet junkies like us have some insight that well-paid collegiate coaches and advisors can't give these kids?

When I was coaching, we didn't want the players to even read the Asheville paper, which gave the spreads. Then came teh intArweb where the teams, fans, and coaches, could talk shit about one another and when the playoffs came everyone was talking about what the key player, key teams, and key coaches would do...

We didn't want them to hear any of it. It only distracts them at best or undercuts their confidence at worst, but there's no way to prevent it.

I'm pretty sure nobody is going to talk shit about recruits. I mean yeah, they could read the trash talking about the current teams and be turned off from the program, but I dont think there is enough of that on here to sway anyones decision. I'm sure they can see for themselves what criticism is deserved, and what dumbasses are just trolling TWW.

i think if a player, like say a CB or S, is going up against the other teams star player, i.e. a WR, then they might go, "oh shit i'm going to have to step up and play the game of my life to shut this guy down." then they might take their game to another level, and play with the type of intensity that they never knew they had.
