with the amount of pressure there is to go to college, it doesnt surprise me. being "in college" is not a standard for being smart. get rid of all the communications majors and most of the english, psychology, and various other humanties and re-do this study. i guarantee there are few if any molecular biology people having these issues.[Edited on January 20, 2006 at 8:23 AM. Reason : im not ragging on humanities ppl, but u do have a lot of dumbasses in ur classes]

i was hinting that you cant just cruise through something that has high math/science levels b/c a good portion of the population sucks at them. analytical thinking can help you when it comes to some of these measures. i didnt bother to read the article b/c of time constraints, but ive seen these types of things before.

Philosophy is one of the humanities and you can’t just cruise through the Pythagoreans, Aristotle, Aquinas, and Kant.[Edited on January 20, 2006 at 11:07 AM. Reason : .]

Now, I don't want to go all salisburyboy here, but credit card companies make their contracts and offers intentionally difficult to comprehend.I watched a documentary on credit cards...There were a few lawyers saying that the jargon in a credit card offer didn't make any sense to them and it's their fucking job to understand contracts. How is the average American going to fare?[Edited on January 20, 2006 at 10:31 PM. Reason : it's not a very good standard of intelligence in any case]
