boxes to ship wheels/tires, i need 4i called most of the wheel/tire places but they say they dont really have a given time when they get them in and just throw them away randomly, and nobody is willing to hold on to any for meplease help

Why don't you go to Lowe's and get packing boxes? They have some that would be a good size for wheels.

If they have tires on them, then you don't need to have a box. You just cut cardboard cirles that cover the entire thing. Then you stick a shiipping address on the cardboard. Then you tape it all together. The tire protects the wheel, and the cardboard protects the faces.

Do tires even come in boxes?I thought when you shipped wheels you just taped a piece of cardboard on each side of the rim to keep it from getting scratched and sent it on it's way.[Edited on January 18, 2006 at 2:11 PM. Reason : ^ beat me to it.]

my wheels came in nice cardboard boxes, the tires were separated by cardboard circles tied together with that plastic tape.
