I've been very good lately... and made a bit of money playing poker online so I believe it's time to treat myself but I don't know where to begin...

I want to get a facial, mani and pedi I believe... and the best deal I have found so far is...

The Nirvelli Day Spa package... which is 99 dollars for 1.) Nirvelli Signiture Facial 2.) Classic Spa Pedicure 3.) Hot Rose Butter Manicure... There is also a January Madness deal going on on the website... http://www.nirvelli.com/aboutus.htm which would go w/ my package says the lady on the phone...

She said each of those 3 will last 30 minutes... Does that seem right? I know absolutely nothing about most of this, but I want to try it.

If this seems crappy, anyone know any other good spas in Cary? Help. :-O

the pedicure seems a bit short. usually mine last 45 minutes+. aveda salons and spas are usually very good and a safe bet (i go to one down here in LA). sorry, no experience with that spa personally.

we went to get manicures and pedicures on my bachelorette party at the place in southpoint mall that it outside near the chocolate store and they did a great job. i don't know if they do facials there, but that was the best manicure and pedicure i've ever gotten.

If you decide not to go to that spa, go to skin sense and get the ayurvedic facial. It's the most wonderful thing ever. It's 85 dollars though, but oooooh so worth it. I personally do not find spa manicures/pedicures all that endearing. Also you could get a chocolate hydrotherapy bath. That's great and it's only $55. I don't know how their wraps are bc I go elsewhere to get those, but those two things are awesome!! BTW I've never heard of that spa before.... It sounds like a good deal, but generally when it comes to spas I stick to my fav! Oh yeah those times are VERY short too.

ultra- You might want to look in the poker thread to stake someone.... I don't play very high stakes... normally 10-20 dollar sit-n-gos. So not too much profit, just fun.

Queti & angylii85 -- I thought the times were very short too. Thank you for all your advice.

Protostar- Because I don't spend much money on myself ever (cause I am saving to make a big down payment on a house) so... I think it's fine to spend a little money on something that will make you feel good every now & then... but if I have insulted you, please forgive me fine sir!

i go to jolie day spa in cameron village when i want to treat myself. timing is about right for all; however, i hate facials. i've had two. after my first one i was like "meh..." but i decided to give it a second chance but still i was just "meh" afterwards. it wasn't the pain factor that bothered me but i think the fact that i broke out more after i left than b4 i went in...so i felt that it was really a waste of time, but the steam part was heavenly......anywho! next time i go i'm just going to get the massage and pedicure...

go to Tanas and get the princess for a day package. It's $150, but it's the best deal...way better than the nirvelli one or whatever. You get a 1 hour full body massage, a facial, a shampoo and haircut (if you want one), and a manicure. It lasts about 5 hours....my boyfriend got me one for my bday and it was awesome! I love tanas anyway, but it was extra special b/c they give you free wine and basically you are relaxed all day. WELL WORTH THE MONEY! Go to the one on Baines Ct. in Cary...it's right off of the Cary Parkway exit.

^have a great time! It's really worth it...the full body massage alone is worth it. And Jitka is the esthitician (sp?) who does the facial and she is really nice. Have fun!

You haven't insulted me. It's your money, do whatever the hell you want with it. I just think its a waste. But I'm a guy, so I don't understand why girls like such things. The idea of people touching me for such extended periods of time does not it well with me; germs. Making more and more money makes me feel good. But whatever floats your boat and makes you happy.
