My greatuncle gave me a bunch of old and used stamps. I got about 200 sheets of US stamps that are unused (mostly from the 70s-80s). Then I have about 1000 old and used stamps (most are still on the letters) from stamps from around the world (really every country in the world from mostly the 70s). Is there a possibility that these are worth anything at all?

No, they are worthless.

I've got around 15 to 20 37 cent stamps I've had for a while, could they be worth anything? Apparently they went out of print approximately 8 DAYS AGO

they're still worth 37 cents each

^^you can buy .02 stamps and put them together with the .37 ones.....however, I have been to the post office twice and they have been out. And the black lady at the post office is a huge bitch, I might add.

Yes. There is a possibility of them being worth something. Stamp collectors could be interested. My greatgrandmother collected stamps as well and I now have possession of her extensive collection (she worked for the postal service... and hers are considerably older...) Anyway... i'm not sure how to gauge how much they would be worth because I have not yet gone to see a professional collector about their worth. Maybe you could find someone... I found someone on raleigh.craigslist.org that was a coin/stamp/old things collector & appraiser... but I never went to meet with him. Maybe this helps...
