Yes, and you better get that shit in soon. You have to write everything you're taking this semester, including electives or other courses that count towards *anything*. (maybe all, that i dont know) I had to put all my minor stuff down.

Speaking of which, do we have to declare minors or anything in advance? I've just been taking the courses and figured I'd talk to the dean sometime closer to when I graduate.

^you'll probably need to fill out an application for a minor and turn it in with your blue card. if you go see the secretary for whatever department is in charge of the minor, i'm pretty sure they'll help you out with signatures and such

^ yes, you can. Just see Ana Kennedy or Dudley Marchi in Foreign Lang. and Literatures and they can switch it for you, help you fill out the minor paperwork so that it can go along with your graduation clearance.

I talked to my advisor, and she said her department was encouraging her to not let anyone graduate in the spring who was taking summer classes.

MDS/IDS whatever you want to call it's email stated that they no longer allowed "walkers" who planned to finish in the summer.

Someone somewhere must have abused the old system. I always thought it was strange they would let people participate in exercises who hadn't completed their degrees yet.

i talked to my Mrs. Jackson in the bostian, she said the blue card is no rush because they got a new head of something there and they still dont know what they are going to do with summer graduates.

should i go fill one out? or just wait? i am finished in summer session 2.

I'd fill it out as soon as they'll let me. I inquired in November of last semester about Spring blue cards, and was told that I'd recieve emails in January when it was time. Today, I dropped by the micro dept office since I hadn't heard anything, and the new guy told me that "I should have taken care of this last week". Oh, that's right, I forgot about that mind-reading class required for a microbiology degree. It's all filled out now, but that was a grrrrr I didn't need this AM. Get them done as soon as they'll let you so you don't have to deal with rudeness as deadlines appraoch.
