no thanks
1/16/2006 6:07:50 PM
Man, if I could run that far, I would do it. Hell I could eat two boxes and not hurl.
1/16/2006 6:07:57 PM
maybe thats why u cant run
1/16/2006 6:13:21 PM
I could run the two miles there but I couldnt eat the doughnuts adn run back..... is there a prize or somethin??
1/16/2006 6:14:51 PM
no puking part of the challenge
1/16/2006 6:15:44 PM
hmmm...a combination of walking and running...it might be possible.I need to get in shape. Sounds like a fun challenge...
1/16/2006 6:21:42 PM
max ~20 minutes to gett there, and ~20 to get back.so youve got 20 minutes and probably another good 5 or so to eat your donuts. laZy ass niggers need not apply[Edited on January 16, 2006 at 6:28 PM. Reason : ]
1/16/2006 6:27:45 PM
you could walk there and back and still make it.even these dudes could do it.
1/16/2006 7:00:12 PM
so you get a t-shirt, the doughnuts.....what else?
1/16/2006 7:13:50 PM
4 miles + dozen donuts in under an hourno way i could do that
1/16/2006 7:20:39 PM
Dumbest thing I have heard in a long time. Sounds like someone had too much time on their hands.
1/16/2006 7:32:07 PM
is there a prize if you win?
1/16/2006 7:32:35 PM
^ it's for a good cause AND a challenge for yourself
1/16/2006 7:43:55 PM
good enough
1/16/2006 7:48:01 PM
Charity bitches, have you heard of it?
1/16/2006 7:56:28 PM
i'm pretty sure i could do thatrun, say, a 7 minute pace on the way out there and get there in 14 minutes...figure on about a 9 minute pace on the way back (for an additional 18 minutes). that gives you 32 minutes to eat 12 donuts.I can't imagine that would be a problem.
1/16/2006 8:03:11 PM
you forget that probably 75% + of the students cant run a 7 minute mile. conservative estimate.
1/16/2006 8:08:11 PM
Its the running with 12 donuts in your gut that makes me go "ehhh..."
1/16/2006 8:09:38 PM
^^right, but i can, and i'm out of shape right now. i was just speaking for myself.hell, even if you ran a 9 minute pace out and a 12 minute pace back (which is a glorified walk), you'd still have 18 minutes to stuff down a dozen doughnuts, which i think would be doable.and i can't imagine that anyone less than 300 lbs with two functional legs couldn't run 2 nine minute miles, then a 12 minute pace back.^yeah, but if you can run worth a damn at all, you will have enough time to run so slowly on the return leg that it won't matter.i mean, i'm speaking theoretically here...i've never done the Krispy Kreme Challenge, but it can't be that damned hard.[Edited on January 16, 2006 at 8:13 PM. 1/16/2006 8:12:05 PM
You're a fucking marine, of course not
1/16/2006 8:16:02 PM
thats like the gay version of the hillsborough hike.grow a set.
1/16/2006 8:32:50 PM
run there, eat donuts, walk back. not that hard
1/16/2006 8:37:41 PM
wouldn't the doughnuts give you energy for the trip back?
1/16/2006 8:41:51 PM
1/16/2006 8:43:34 PM
im a certified fattie and i could do it
1/16/2006 8:46:11 PM
the real question is: will the hot sign be on when you get there?
1/16/2006 9:18:37 PM
$10 includes the donuts...are these the shitty fund raisor donuts with preservatives or hot fresh wonderful krispy kreme donuts straight off the preservative free line and out of hot animal lard?????there is a very very large difference IMHO...
1/16/2006 9:52:13 PM
fuck that
1/16/2006 9:53:30 PM
id love to see a real fatty run 4 9-minute miles. have you never taken a gym class in college? ppl are out of shape as fuck.hell im skinny and i realistically dont think i could do 4 9 mins all basically right after anotherin my gym class i did 3 miles for the final and got around 27 minutes. i was definately in the top 50% id say if not higher.[Edited on January 16, 2006 at 9:58 PM. Reason : im slow and blame a low lung capacity on my shitty running ability]
1/16/2006 9:56:15 PM
man, a 9 minute mile is slow as shit...it's like a cripple's pace for a light jog (and i'm no real running machine...i'm like 5'8" and 185-190 lbs.)and you'd only have to run two of them. then you could rest while eating donuts, and run a snail's pace 12 minute mile back. you might could even briskly walk a 12 minute mile. if not, it would BARELY be a pace that could constitute running at all.[Edited on January 16, 2006 at 10:01 PM. Reason : maybe i'm putting too much faith in the general population]
1/16/2006 10:01:09 PM
Even after all the weight I've lost, I can't do a very fast mile at all. Fucking knees are trashed.
1/16/2006 10:05:58 PM
1/16/2006 10:09:39 PM
hahai can tell that my joints aren't what they used to be either. almost all of them pop and crack all the time, although they don't usually hurt (shoulders and left knee do sometimes)oh well...i'm amazed that i never managed to get myself killed from ages 16-24 or so, so i guess that's not too much to bitch about.
1/16/2006 10:10:04 PM
^^ maybe im remembering incorrectly, but thats what i thought i got. i did better than many if not most of the girls i know that much. i never did proclaim to be in good shape though. that was after a semester of running each day in class, so i wasnt in that bad of shape either. when you have as many fat ppl as we do in the states i think itd be silly to think that 4 miles within an hour is easy game.
1/16/2006 10:14:09 PM
yeah, but those fatbodies would be able to knock out the dozen donuts in no time flat
1/16/2006 10:14:57 PM
144 grams of fat, 264 grams of carbs, 2,376 calories, and a 120 grams of sugar.Goodness gracious. I'd be afraid to consume that.
1/16/2006 10:18:06 PM
I agree, the hardest part for me would be eating 12 doughnuts in one sitting. The fatties would definitly have the advantage there.
1/16/2006 10:18:07 PM
this isn't half as crazy as a hash run
1/16/2006 10:21:02 PM
1/16/2006 10:22:00 PM
personally, i dont exercise much but i think i could probably flesh out the 2 on the way and briskly walk back. the doughnuts, i dunno. maybe if it was 6, but im not big guy. add to that the water to rehydrate a lil and its vomit time.
1/16/2006 10:32:01 PM
Are you able to drink water with the doughnuts, or atleast along the way?
1/16/2006 10:46:37 PM
Man, Krispy Kreme seems a LOT farther than two miles.
1/16/2006 10:49:46 PM
maybe thats part of the joke.
1/16/2006 10:59:48 PM
if this was held in the afternoon, id do itmorning? WHY? so it can be as cold as humanly possible? that is not smart planning. im much looser in the afternoon too.
1/16/2006 11:01:01 PM
perhaps you should live in sunny florida wear it is always nice and warm.
1/16/2006 11:03:53 PM
right now it looks to be good weather for the weekend. even so, its a challenge, not a stroll in the park.hope those that are interested sign up. lots have registered already!
1/16/2006 11:04:12 PM
