Im trying to clean out my ps2. I'm trying to get the lid over the loading tray unscrewed. I got 3 out except for 1. This 1 is on the front to the right next to the ribbon connected to the reset and ejects buttons. Its stuck and I can't get it loose. I'm using a precision screwdriver and it's not working.

VERY carefully, heat it up (the screwdriver or the plastic, depends on how lucky you feel) with a lighter and work the screw loose

Push down on the screw with the screwdriver, and use pliers to turn the screwdriver. Try that before heating, if you want a safer method.

plan B) jab the flat side of a screwdriver into the side of the case where it seperates and pry until you hear the plastic cracking

then pry some more

'cause 3 outta 4 ain't bad

you can also try to angle the screwdriver into the side of the screw, and hammer it counter-clockwise, ya know, turn it with the force of the hammer

i don't see how it's not turning unless it's stripped...just bust the plastic, it's not like it matters anywho
