Download a program called "CPU-Z", will be able to identify processor and memory.

^Travis, why would I download a program when Windows will tell me straightup.

^I've found that Windows doesn't always display the processor correctly. I usually use Belarc Advisorhttp://www.belarc.com/free_download.html just to make sure, plus it tells you all kinds of other crap like what kind of memory, mobo, video, etc.

yeah if the first method doesn't work either of those programs is the way to go.like when windows gives you that family model stepping crap, or if you just want to know more about what you have.

by far the easiest way of finding out isgo to start -> run -> type in "dxdiag"that brings up about all the information you could want on your computer

mine thinks I have two processors. I guess it's because of hyperthreading?
