Im a graduate student in Sports Management, and I'm in the process of trying to find an Graduate Assistantship in either, Sports Information, Public Relations, Marketing, basically anywhere in Collegiate Athletics. Ive already sent out about 4-6 resumes, and made a few calls to contacts, Im just trying to find out if there's anything more I can be doing. All suggestions are definitely appreciated...or if any of you know of any GA positions which I may be unaware of...

The reason for this post is b/c I have to fulfill a 400 hour internship or grad. assistantship requirement placement for my M.S in Sports Management...

I know a girl interning for Wolfpack Club. It's a 9 month program for recent grads. Maybe look into something like that?

The NCAA site has great postings of jobs in this area. There is a GA category, but there aren't many posted there currently http://ncaa.thetask.com/market/jobs/browse.php.

If you haven't had luck here at NCSU, I'd try some of the smaller schools around here that might not have the same volume of applicants.
