these island folk can import some pretty cool stuff. st. kitts has had the best so far with skylines, numerous generations of evos, silvias, turbo mr2's, turbo supras, diesel 110 rovers, diesel toyota hi lux, etc... this on just a 65 sq. mile island. haven't seen anything spectacular in venezuela yet. grenada had some good 4 wheeling. hoping for more of the same in aruba. should be considering i found some fun stuff on neighboring curacao a few years ago.driving on the left/steering on the right can be confusing, even though i've done it a few times before. especially with a stick.

Ivan what are you doing in the Caribbean?

I got used to shifting with my left hand on offset Farmalls. some of them can be a bitch to get in gear while some are almost like a synchronized trans.

i crown aruba as 4 wheeling capital of the caribbean (out of the ~10 islands i've been to). quite a few 5+ trails, and miles upon miles of 1-3 stuff. i previously thought neighboring curacao had the best to offer. they gots a track there too, but i didn't get a chance to check it out.

nice. i heard that mexico has some rough shit.
1/8/2006 7:02:13 PM
yeah, mexico is fun all around... plenty of nice straight 2 lane roads to go balls out on, and lots of off road stuff. traffic laws are basically non existent/not enforced outside of the larger cities. passing is the funniest thing, people will go two and three wide around cars, doesn't matter if it's on the left, right, in the ditch, a field, etc. they have huge speed bumps at every little town you come to (even if it's like 5 people that live there) that always manage to appear out of nowhere when you're running 120.
