My sister is a Lt. at Schofield Barracks and I went to lunch with her and some of her soldiers. THe only soldier who supported Bush was an older Sgt. who's family was very wealthy...1 out of about 20 isn't saying much for the Prez
1/3/2006 12:40:59 PM
And 20 people out of almost a million in the military isn't saying much for a representative sample.
1/3/2006 2:44:26 PM

1/3/2006 4:14:10 PM

1/3/2006 5:12:23 PM
to throw some anecdotal evidence on the fire.....I have a friend who just returned from Iraq last week after his 2nd tour. Before, during and after the 1st time he was over there he supported the war and Bush, but during this 2nd tour he came to realize that he no longer believed in the cause nor the way the war is being conducted. so there's at least one out of your million that have lose support.

I found two of these statements funny. First, I sincerely think the guy who conducted a poll with his sister at lunch has absolutely no idea what he is talking about.Secondly, I saw this same piece in Army Times, with an article right underneath it that had to do with "mission approval ratings" being high. But, of course, pryderi with his tunner vision wouldn't bother reading that. (Actually I'd be surprised if he read anything beyond the title half the time)

Facts don't get in the way of Pryderi and his views. NO BLOOD FOR OIL!
1/4/2006 10:54:27 AM
I thought this was funny coming from the military.
1/4/2006 10:58:08 AM
the fastest way to finish a war is to lose it

1/4/2006 12:15:52 PM
The people who ran the poll said that it was skewed heavily towards the lifers.
