I think you're retarded. Manny over-pursues a little, but Mario hardly ever does. So what if he gets pwnt by a fast QB every once in a while...that shit happens to everyone. Manny got caught by the draw plays but mario was usually strong enough to push his blocker out of the way to recover somewhat.

I am a selfish little prick fan who was no interest in your welfare. I want you to give up the highest draft pick and money that you can get to come back and play for a crappy FB team and risk injuring that million dollar body. To boot, I'm so dishonest, I will talk shit about you in hopes of lowering your draft stock.

i think he's going to come to the conclusion that he doesn't need eleventy billion dollars to be happy, all he needs is a college championship. never mind, he's black.

Top 5 is a bit iffy, top 10 is a pretty solid estimate though.

He is definitely gone, and I wish the best of luck to him, and I will be pulling for him wherever he goes(even if he ended up on a team I didn't like, I'd pull for him).

Make us proud Mario!

As much as I would like to see him on the team helping out the D next year, I don't even want him to stay and risk injury. His stock is almost as high as it's going to get, so why not go ahead and tear it up in the NFL? Besides, some part of the team is going to suck next year....the DB's?...the O-line, perhaps...the QB; leaving him with a mediocre team record and not improving his draft status much at all.

I think mario will either be the 3rd or 10th pic in the nfl draft. The packers could use a good DE as well as the ravens. I think him and kiwi both will be taken at either 3rd or 10th. I would really like to see mario go 3rd but it will be interesting to see.

So the guy that said top 5 could be right I hadnt looked to see who had the first picks.

need has little to do with where he will get drafted. Any team will take him and trade him.

I don't think his senior year increased his stock...at the end of the season, he was still thought of as a mid-to-late second-round pick. It wasn't until he went to all the workouts that he moved up the board.

This is tough to really say one way or the other.

If you compare his "stock" at the end of his junior year to his "stock" at the end of his senior year then I would say he was more highly regarded after his junior year.

However, I think it may be fair to say he would not have done as well in the workouts after his junior year as he did after his senior year....

EIther way i dont think his "stock" changed all that drastically...

Hodge was probably a top 10 draft pick after his junior year

he was in danger of going undrafted after his senior year though, but fortunately he improved his stock greatly in the workouts.

The deal with Mario staying is a lot better than hodge though. Basketball has fewer rounds and its more risky to wait in that regard. Of course football has greater chance of injury. Mario is not even going to drop from a top 10 pick to a second round pick by having a bad senior year. Maybe if he gets hurt he will drop that far, but the man is still going to get paid. Even if he drops to a third round pick he still has money comming to him. If hodge had dropped to a second round pick, wouldnt have been guaranteed anything. I just dont think the decision to come back would be that bad for mario.

Of course, he's ready for the NFL. There's no question about that. From here its all about how much he enjoys college. I dont blame him for leaving though....we suck.

Mario will be getting his degree in May. There is no need for a person that talented and physically gifted to come back after they've already gotten their degree and risk injury.

He'll be a top 10 pick. He waits till next year he'll be the #1,2, or 3 pick probably but it's not worth it to risk it. Go get paid, Mario. You've earned it.

bwahahahahaha [no]

I know you're trying to justify your statement that Hodge hurt his stock by coming back, but saying total BS like this doesn't help your credibility.

and you're credible because you know that he wouldnt have been a top 10 pick

Its not total BS. I dont give a fuck if I'm credible or not. I know, and you know that hodge was the ACC player of the year after his junior year, and he barely made second team all ACC last year, and probably only did that because of his performance over his career...he sucked his senior year.

Go fuck yourself, this isnt a hodge thread...I was just using him as an example of why Mario shouldnt stay, while pointing out hodge hurt his stock more than Mario possibly can next year by staying. I personally could give a fuck less what you think....cause everyone and their mother will say that hodge hurt his stock by staying for his senior season.
