lienharts gone, bush aint coming back. they will have white and jarret. their qb and defense will be questionable. 7 is a stretch but i dont see how you can say more. it is the pac 10 so i do agree that in the end of the season they will be top 5 if they can beat nebraska.quarterback is the most important position. thats why i think you have georgia and usc too high. they have untested qbsi shafted ohio statehow do you not have nd in the top 10?[Edited on December 29, 2005 at 9:52 PM. if ND wins their bowl game then of course they'll be in the top 5 preseason next year...there's just no way around it
12/29/2005 10:09:06 PM
the polls for next year reflect losses in personnel
12/29/2005 10:09:43 PM
Quinn will leave this year. If ND beats Ohio State, they will be top 10 preseason next year, if they dont, they wont

Why would Brady Quinn leave when he will be at best the third QB chosen and could win the Heisman and maybe the Nat'l Championship. Not to mention will be a top 3 pick in 07 Draft.Best QB's of 06MattVinceJay[Edited on December 29, 2005 at 11:23 PM. Reason : .]

same as this year

no, different from this yearwe won't be plagued by injuries and poor officiating (double hopefully)if they can stay healthy, look for them to at least win the big ten. after the 5 losses though i think a top 25 preseason rank will be lucky

Oklahoma will be a top ten team next year. I'm not a fan, but they're returning everyone from a team that went 8-4 with losses to teams like TCU (1 loss), UCLA (2 losses), Texas (undefeated), and Texas Tech (2 losses). Plus the TT game was bullshit and the refs gave the game to the Red Raiders.Their skill players were freshmen and sophomores so imagine how much better they'll be.

^^true, the same revolving 15 teams are in the top ten every year, no matter what they lost, with usually 1 surprise thrown in
