I don't think media matters needs the traditional "it's a biased site" warning. They've yet to publish any incorrect info. And it must have been hard to narrow it down to only 18.
12/29/2005 8:10:03 AM
they may not have published incorrect information, but they are still biased in the information they choose to report on. i.e. Show the bad stuff from conservatives and good stuff from liberals, therefore making them liberally biased.
12/29/2005 8:27:39 AM
They report facts...the ones that make conservatives look bad, mostly. But really, there has been some crazy shit said this year...i loled at these two. * Ann Coulter: "Isn't it great to see Muslims celebrating something other than the slaughter of Americans?" [Syndicated column, 2/3/05]* Rush Limbaugh: "Feminism was established so as to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream of society." All taken out of context. Kill yourself.
12/29/2005 8:59:04 AM
In what context exactly would make the following look any better?"Canada is a sweet country. It is like your retarded cousin you see at Thanksgiving and sort of pat him on the head. You know, he's nice, but you don't take him seriously. That's Canada."Liberals "don't have the kind of family responsibilities most people have, and certainly not church responsibilities.""There are a lot of aspiring rappers and NBA superstars who could really use a nice flat-screen television right now." "Same-sex marriage would lead to "marriage between daddies and little girls ... between a man and his donkey."

-- "See, in my line of work you got to keep repeating things over and over and over again for the truth to sink in, to kind of catapult the propaganda," Bush said in explaining his communications strategy last May.-- "I think I may need a bathroom break. Is this possible?" Bush asked in a note to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice during a U.N. Security Council meeting in September.-- "This notion that the United States is getting ready to attack Iran is simply ridiculous. And having said that, all options are on the table," Bush said in Brussels last February.-- "In terms of timetables, as quickly as possible - whatever that means," the president said of his timeframe for passing Social Security legislation in March.-- "Those who enter the country illegally violate the law," Bush said in describing illegal immigrants in Tucson, Arizona, last month.

^^ Well, while I too am deeply distressed at the fact that Congressman Waters' mother was not allowed to have an abortion, I still think the stupidity of the statement is pretty obvious.
