You don't have to search every dumb topic you make.

Just the most obvious ones.

So do people who have been discussing this shit for months now.

If you want to know what we don't give a shit about though

I can easily tell you

Your own, old, unoriginal opinions.

What kind of gratification do you get out of surfing around TWW and pointing out when people have posted a topic that has already been discussed?

But seeing the same topic 59023852098520938 times makes my eyes bleed.

HAHA I pay more attention to what people talk about on the WolfWeb and therefore you are an idiot for not knowing! This is the funniest thing I will probably be a part of all day long!

If it makes your eyes bleed might I suggest looking at a different board? I look on here a few times each day and to me it looks like almost everything (other than actual news, which is new by default) is pretty much old, so deal

Its not a matter of paying attention sir, its a matter of being so arrogant as to think you're (already beaten to death) idea for a thread warrants a posting.

I'm sorry but youre going to have to excuse my ignorance for a second here...I am having trouble figuring out what it is exactly that connects curiosity about what other people think on a particular subject and being arrogant...

"Who will be on the 2008 pres. ticket?" -- Oh yeah, nevermind, that question just exudes arrogance, I see it now

Its not the question sir, its the act. A simple search and a BTTT of the threads this was discussed in is just proper internet forum etiquette. How could you possibly argue that you're interested in logical debate if you won't take the time to join discussions already in place? If you don't want logical debate, then post in Chit Chat.

A simple search of "2008" brought these threads:

"Warner vs. Allen in 2008"
http://www.brentroad.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=368868

"Who will run in 2008"
http://www.brentroad.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=263586

"McCain/Powell for 2008"
http://www.brentroad.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=263372

to name a few.

Well I don't disagree that should this be the case it is possibly in the wrong forum, but what about the thread title suggests that he wanted a logical debate? He hasn't really expressed an opinion, but just asked what people think. And even if this is the wrong forum for a simple question, it would seem like a logical place to ask that particular question.

I guess my real problem here is why insist on pointing that out each and every time someone makes an old thread. You are like the people that waste their time trying to get Howard Stern off the air (or whatever, pick an example)...instead of simply not reading the thread, you take time out just to go into it and point out that the topic is old, just like people waste their time trying to argue why Stern is bad entertainment instead of just tuning out.

Also, this is an ever changing issue, new candidates can arise over time, maybe there was some news yesterday that he missed? He had a simple question, what is the big fucking deal about just asking the question before he spends more time researching to see if its already been done just so you won't label his thread old?

And by the way, the fact that people are seriously responding suggests to me that this is a topic some people feel is still worth discussing.

^three of the people you just mentioned are democrats
and all four of them are left of the current trends in america

a vast majority of republican members of the house say they'd rather have cheney campaign for them than mccain (i forget if that came out in CW or NR last month)

I'd bet they're left of the electorate, what with all the vote rocking the GOP's been doing with the fundies.

yeah, maybe mccain/lieberman is wishful thinking

i'd much rather see lieberman on the GOP ticket, so i wouldn't have to vote for him

plus, i couldn't imagine 2 hawks like clinton/lieberman on a democratic ticket

Republicans will likely be at a disadvantage in the next presidential election, however Im wondering if the democrats can step up without tripping. It doesnt seem like they've changed much since '04. They still lack the ability to inspire confidence in the general public. This years elections will tell.

i just have this feeling that bush's last days are gonna be like an eskimo's last days
