No offense or anything, but I've got a hunch that nearly every country that has a functioning intelligence agency is spying on the United Nations. If this somehow shocks or offends you, then you are one of the most politically naive people I've ever met.

well you have to understand that pryderi thinks the normal push-and-pull between the branches of government (re. wiretaps) is an impeachable offense

Im going to have to agree with redguard on this one. Having worked at a foreign diplomatic mission, it very quickly becomes clear that any telephone conversations not made on secure lines are likely being monitored as well as any conversations made outside of secure areas. This will come as No surprise to the diplomats at the UN since they have lived with this reality for the duration of their foreign service careers.
