What would it take for the Entertainment Section to not have an "expiration date" for posts. It just seems appropriate and will cut back on clutter since on person doesn't watch movies etc all w/in 90 days of another person

Not really needed. Usually only the newest stuff is what people generally talk about. Even seasonal TV shows get their own threads usually and stay active. General threads such as "Official Simpsons Appreciation Thread" might benefit, but not enough that the whole section needs to have non-expiring threads.

plus when a movie comes out on dvd it'll have other features to discuss and thus might benefit from a new thread. id rather have threads die than ppl post new ones and THEN bump old ones.

how does a 90 day old thread clutter Entertainment? it's probably at least 10 pages back by the time it expires.

well i wanted to say smthg about the movie the machinist...but there were 5 threads about it and 4 were expired. if that was all one thread it would have been easier. and if someone wanted to talk about a specific thing then yeh they can make their own thread. i just don't find the need for 3 threads named "The Machinist"

half the people dont search anyways and do we really need to bump a thread every time someone wants to make a comment?dont you think those threads died for a reason? i mean, shit, that movie came out forever ago, keep it to yourself. let me go bump a thread on dude wheres my car, cuz i have a funny story about when my gf and i were watching it yesterday....no one cares. if you have questions about the plot or want to give a review there are dedicated sites for that shit.
