I don't know much about cars, but as far as I understand it I can just buy the tool to pop out the stereo, plug an rca to 1/8" adaptor into the aux inputs, and run it down and out through the dash. Is this correct? Where can I buy the removal tool? I have a 2004 Camry if that makes any difference.

On some head units you can solder on a 3.5 mm female cable , and just play a blank cd.i know my roomie does that, and ive seen multiple articles on the internet about itGod knows it would beat some FM shit[Edited on December 26, 2005 at 9:34 PM. Reason : .]

I've got a Trans-pod FM transmitter for my iPod, and it sounds really good. At least as good or better sound quality than any over the air radio station.
