I have considered purchasing a sway bar kit for my civak; so far i have been looking at Progress technology, Eibach, and Suspension Techniques. I'm not so worried about the front application as I am the rear - not having a factory rear sway bar. Give me some opinions on these brands, and any experience with a 4th gen civic application would be wonderful. thx.

i just put one on my 2005 maxima and noticed a huge difference - it was made by progress - is it worth it for that car?

interesting. just from the ads ive seen, progress looks the best. they also offer an adjustable one for the rear, which is also larger - but im not sure about clearing that gommin exhaust of mine... and im not really into adjustability

unfortunately i waste my money more quickly, and have started out with less than many. 400ex and Hawk be damned... hahahaha, so i saw the suspension technique's kit for my car - and i think im going for it. i think i can get it from JCW for about $240+ shipping, maybe with 15% off that if i am lucky (catalog specials)

i wouldn't bother with the front bar unless you intend to make this a track car. add a 22mm rear bar from Progress and replace all the bushings in your car with poly. what a world of difference they make.

poly bushings are a future possibility, but not for now. is the front bar close to the same size as ones offered in these kits?

it is a little bigger but you car suffers severly from understeer so adding a larger rear bar will help remedy the situation. and its a fucking pain in the ass to replace.[Edited on December 23, 2005 at 10:27 PM. Reason : -]

gotcha. sure hope i can beat my exhaust into submission to let the sway bar be installed. heh. other than that, i have no worries. underPSI, what would the benefit of the adjustable sway bar from Progress be - my application being purely street with all other suspension being factory?

^^^ youll still notice a huge difference even on stock suspension. just go for it and work up from there, you wont be disappointed.
