Has anyone seen any reviews on it yet? I'm going to see on Christmas Day.
12/23/2005 10:37:06 AM

12/23/2005 10:42:01 AM
^Hahaha I was thinking the same thing.
12/23/2005 10:49:07 AM
^^ I think it's about dakota_man's partiesshould be pretty goddamned scary
12/23/2005 11:20:34 AM
I'm pretty sure it's about the "incident" that happened there a couple years back.
12/23/2005 11:20:47 AM
That movie looks really scary - I don't think I'm going to see it. I haven't read any reviews on it yet, though.

^They could be non-Christian.
12/23/2005 12:42:19 PM
^ And? Who the hell doesn't want a free day off? Even a Satanist would want the day off.
12/23/2005 1:01:55 PM
actually a satanist wouldnt care at all.
12/23/2005 1:41:17 PM
true, they wouldn't have a job in the first place.
12/24/2005 9:31:04 AM
silly people. Satanists work every job out there. COS members are known to be doctors, lawyers, actors, etc. Even Sammy Davis Jr was a known Satanist.
12/24/2005 11:17:22 AM
Just saw it. HORRIBLE movie. After watching this movie, ive just about lost all hope in bigtime critics reviews of movies. This was supposed to be a great movie, but was seriously one of the worst "horror/scary" movies I have ever seen. Do NOT see it!
12/25/2005 11:13:31 PM
well after reading your reasoning, i can see why you didnt like it.[/sarcasm]without giving spoilers, at least say why you didnt like it. just saying "hey i didnt like this movie, the critics were wrong!" really serves no purpose at all.
12/25/2005 11:24:24 PM
Wasnt trying to write a full review for the movie, just wanted to say that I was pretty disappointed with it. Excuse me for not meeting your needs.
12/25/2005 11:58:33 PM
i'm holding out for Hostel
12/26/2005 12:20:17 AM
terrible movie. 5 minutes of action. for half of the movie nothing at all happened. i guess they thought it was character development time. didn't work. i wanted all of them to die.
12/26/2005 12:53:14 AM
12/26/2005 1:08:44 AM
waste of time. avoid this movie at all costs.
12/26/2005 3:25:48 AM
^ Be careful. Doesn't look like you've put enough detail in your review for Tracer.
12/26/2005 5:18:16 PM
surprisingly enough, his was even less descriptive than yours.do you think your opinion is valued enough to say, "dont go see it", and people will actually heed your warning? assuming the answer is no, then whats the point in even typing it?
12/26/2005 6:55:30 PM
I just dont understand why you feel the need to let everyone know how crappy their posts are. Do you really not have anything better to do with you time? I mean, you have graduated and all, right???
12/26/2005 7:19:58 PM
the movie was lame. it wasn't scary. it wasn't gory. it was slow and boring.
12/26/2005 7:27:02 PM
i have graduated, but its christmas break, i have spare time.i think you're the only person i've discussed this format of non-descriptive movie review with, so i'd hesitate to say i'm letting everyone know how crappy their posts are. i'm just a little concerned that you dont see the pointlessness of warning people not to see a movie without listing at least one fault with the movie.
12/26/2005 8:10:22 PM
I agree with everyone else. It wasn't that good. My sister had friends who saw it before it was released nationwide and they said it was great. I don't see what was so great about it. The funny thing is that the killer looked like Rosco from Dukes of Hazzard
12/26/2005 8:34:31 PM
looks like the general consensus is negative. thats unfortunate.
12/26/2005 8:59:20 PM
I wouldnt really classify it as pointless. Id just say it was meant to be more of a quick suggestion than anything else.
12/26/2005 9:16:30 PM
I can make a quick suggestion that The Graduate sucks. No one should listen to me if I do.The point is, your laziness makes your well-intentioned comments less than helpful.
12/26/2005 10:57:57 PM
I saw it last night. I agree... I was excited about it, but was a bit disappointed when I left. I think that it was fairly promising throughout, but just didn't deliver in the end. I think that the end could have been more satisfying if the director used a few more liberties with "based on actual events". It's really hard to give an accurate review without spoiling it, though. I looked up the "real story" when I got home and realized that the "real" ending would have been a bit more eerie than the movie ending (and by ending I mean the print that they put on the screen to say what happened next in "real" life). Again...hard to review without spoiiling...and I think that I've confused myself in the process...haha. Anyway, if you've seen it, go to the movie website, click on the actual events link, and read about the Wolf Creek Killer. I realize that the director said that the flick is a conglomeration of outback slaying cases, but I think he could have ended it more like the Wolf Creek case.... Oh...and this movie needed some serious subtitles at the beginning..ha.PS...the preview for Pulse made me feel quite a bit oogie... I hope that it delivers

going to see it this morning with my sister, ill let you know how it ends up.with real reasons and everything cuz i dont trust most ppl on here cept those who have consistant review history (cuz most threads have ppl saying they sucked when they've probably seen 2 movies this year).[Edited on December 27, 2005 at 9:26 AM. ^you do your killing early...just after breakfast
12/27/2005 10:55:29 AM
i dunno, i agree that it was a bit drawn out. i think more time is needed in most horror movies to establish characters, but none of them are overly likable. in fact, you barely know much about any of them and 1 of the 3 just seems there for the hell of it. the characters did feel pretty natural though and the acting was better than a lot of early twenties actors. nothing ever really picked up considering the time it took to get there, thus kinda ruining it.i might rent it once, but thats it. wouldnt recommend for a movie theater trip.

12/28/2005 12:21:12 AM
well ill call anyone a dumbass who goes into a horror movie and expects greatness.
12/28/2005 10:18:02 AM
the first 50 minutes could have been 30nice ending thothat cunt still should have killed the aussie when she had the chance[Edited on February 1, 2006 at 2:10 AM. Reason : logistics ]

You people ruin movies with your rancid critiquing, I saw this movie today and thought it was a pretty good flick, they put a good amount in character development and the villian has such a native taste to his presence it makes him seem a sick sort of friendly. It is at least 10x better than all other horror movies from 2000-now
2/20/2006 4:07:26 PM
im not overly critical but there is no way this movie is 10x better or that there was any REAL character development in it. would i watch it once (though i already have)? yeah sure, why not. i wouldnt rent it again though having seen it.
2/20/2006 4:12:53 PM
can someone please tell me what happens after the 2 girls escape and push his truck off the edge?that was the point when i left, still like to know how it ends though..
2/20/2006 4:59:18 PM
SPOILER ALERTwhile i dont commit it to memory, here's what i recall. them bitches get killed (one almost gets away, but he snipers the guy who tries to help her), the guy victim escapes but they dont ever find a trace of the killer cuz the kids really had no clue where he lived and there were a lot of camps like his. then it starts all over again at the end with a new family.
2/20/2006 5:09:51 PM
I can't provide a counter point to the lack of character delv because most of them get killed, but most of the movie is based on them establishing relationships.
2/20/2006 5:11:47 PM
it has them driving around doing random stuff, i wouldnt call what they have relationships. i certainly felt no connection to them at all, especially the non-main girl.
2/20/2006 5:18:03 PM
doesn't matter if their developing on-screen relationships between each other, ha. u know there's a lack of character development when u want them all to die.me and all my friends did at least.[Edited on February 20, 2006 at 5:22 PM. Reason : ]
2/20/2006 5:21:41 PM
yeah the guy was getting on my nerves.
2/20/2006 5:38:24 PM
worst movie ever
2/20/2006 6:00:35 PM
the movie was getting on my nerves.too much pointless gore, not enough progression in the plot.hence, why we left.
2/20/2006 6:01:22 PM
WORST MOVIE EVER
2/20/2006 6:03:01 PM
I don't know why you people leave before a movie is over. I mean I assume you paid around $5-7 per ticket. For that, I'm gonna stay no matter how bad it is. I at least want closure, no matter how shitty the movie is. If it was at Blue Ridge, then you'd have a case (or if you didn't have to pay in the first place).I thought the movie sucked though.
