would he pass on the spider mutation?

Depends on whether he has spiderballs. Also where in the genetic structure it takes place. If it were on the Y chromosome and he had a daughter, nothing would be passed on.[Edited on December 17, 2005 at 8:46 PM. Reason : scientification]

if it was a son, it would have to be on the Y chromosomeif a daughter, it would have to be on the X chromosome^sonofa[Edited on December 17, 2005 at 9:33 PM. Reason : ]

Is Spider-Girl his daughter?^^ Well, it could be kept on any of the other chromosomes and be sex-independent. It depends on a lot of things. It could just be on one of a pair, and just get missed altogether.

maybe he's infertile

That's a possibility. His spider sperm might be incompatible with Mary Jane's human ladyparts. But I think she got knocked up once or twice in the comics (not sure).

except for the initial spider bite, what if the spider gene is an STD

also, if it were on the X chromosome, and it were dominant, then it would show up in either sex. Whereas if it were on the X chromosome and it were recessive, then it would show up in any son, and in any daughter he had with a spider-woman.don't come on here talking science when you don't have your facts straight.

^lol.. you need to get your facts straight. Tell me, does a male child inherit a X chromosome from the father... right.
