This is the last opportunity for NCSU students to take advantage of a great opportunity. http://www.onenotecampus.com is a new note taking software and organization tool that microsoft has launched. NCSU can download the software untill December 31st and try it out for 180 days free. After that it is $49 for students and $99 for the public. Also by downloading the software and activating you have the opportunity to win an XBOX 360, toyota Prius, Tablet PC, and MP3 player. This is completely free to NCSU students and can only help you during the next school year.

Stop scamming students.the MSDNAA offers one note for FREE to all qualifying majors.*sick of this website trying to sell the software to CSC classes*And folks if you're not qualifying, odds are you arent a major that uses the computer enough to care.[Edited on December 16, 2005 at 1:01 PM. Reason : .]
12/16/2005 1:01:22 PM
If you would go to the website you would see its not spam, we arent selling anything when microsoft is letting everyone try it for free.
12/16/2005 1:16:17 PM
So basically, you are mad that we are trying to offer the same free software that some NCSU students can get from MSDNAA???I dont know exactly what you have to do to get that from them, but im sure its not easier than clicking a link and downloading the free software. Therefore we are also making it easier for students to get the software. Also, not all students can get the software from NCSU another way. There are selective majors like CSC and ECE and maybe a few others, but if you try the program, you will see that those majors have no better advantage to using the software than another major. It is useful for any type of note-taking or organization for business files or anything else that they so choose. Also, can you win prizes from MSDNAA giving you the software?? Because if you download from http://www.onenotecampus.com for NCSU and activate the software, you can win many prizes from microsoft and an additional xbox 360 that me and greg are giving away to a NCSU student.

12/16/2005 4:17:17 PM
12/16/2005 4:31:34 PM
So it's just a demo? You're going through all this trouble to get people to download a freaking demo?
12/16/2005 4:37:25 PM
It is a trial for 180 days. Microsoft is not going to include this in their free office tools that they have, so they are normally charging people for the product. That is why they are only giving away a trial so that people can see if they like it before they purchase it. This 180-days will give students plenty of time to try the software and it will last longer than the spring semester. Also, if your peeved that I am still making posts for this, then theres not much you can do about it. This has been a success and people will continue to gain from this opportunity and I am giving them a chance before the end of December, when the free software is no longer available.^^^and I dont think it could possibly be easier. You get this in less than 5 minutes. you cant get it easier.[Edited on December 16, 2005 at 4:50 PM. Reason : .]
12/16/2005 4:46:20 PM
BUMP!!!
12/16/2005 8:29:51 PM
Alright you've made your point. Now please stop bringing this to the top. People here either don't care or if they've seen this topic by now they've done what they need to with it.
12/16/2005 10:00:37 PM
mine won't activate
12/16/2005 10:14:22 PM
After you download and instal the program. You just simply open it from where you installed it, then it will automatically pop up asking you to activate.
12/16/2005 10:32:16 PM
I hope you burn in hell
12/16/2005 10:33:36 PM
Is it available for Kubuntu/Ubuntu linux?
12/17/2005 1:44:00 AM
I would like to thank SaabTurbo for this one...BTTT
12/17/2005 11:19:29 AM
^just curious, how much are you getting paid to do this?
12/17/2005 12:10:39 PM
Well we cant really say what we get for doing this, but it is worth it. I will say that we get paid more than enough, but less than too much
