so, awhile back the doc told me that if i continue to have a cat I would one day be so allergic that I would not be able to be near cats at all.
I laughed it off, and said I will just suffer because i like cats.
so... recently my allergies have been getting worse... and my throat actually closed up after being around one cat for only 5 min (I never had this problem before, except later that week when i was around someone elses cat).
I am not that bad around my own cat yet... is there anything that I can do to stop it from getting worse? I love my psycho cat. and i take allergy meds...

go see an allergist, possibly get shots, otherwise see what they recommend based on the severity of your allergy.
