she is the most laid back snuggly pup there is...lol but then when she plays she bounds around like a little deer! aha she's adorable! she's very curious and she loves to "paw" at Mojo (the mini pinscher chasing her in the 3rd pic) but when you pick her up she turns into a stuffed animal and just cuddles with you...AND she loves her crate!

all 3 - sprocket's bottom right, then clockwise is buddy, and artie up top

sprocket and buddy (sprocket has the green collar)

artie and sprocket

of course, I don't want to steal your baby's thunder carry on

I didn't go with that house...I'll find a place sooner or later, but for now, its not bad staying where I am b/c Dakota has a friend (the mini pinscher that already lived here)

woah, my wife and I just got very similiar looking puppy 2 weeks ago as a playmate for our minpin!

ours is a straight up Mutt his mother was a sheltie/huskie mix, and we think his dad had some german shepherd (looks like some rottie, but this was the only one in the litter this color)

haha look at that! yeah its funny b/c mojo, the mini pinch., has pretty much the same markings as my Dakota. I was told she was retriever/husky, but like you said about your pup, I swear she has some shepherd in her!!

I was also told she won't get more than 40 lbs, and to tell you the truth, her paws aren't THAT big, but I do kinda hope she has a growth spurt

It was a good He was just a rascal.

And that colorings actually common among several breeds, but mudd was supposedly lab/austrailian shepherd. Turns out he was aussie/chow with a tiny bit of german shepherd mayyybe.

yeah you are definitely right...it seems to be a very common coloration, second maybe to all black?

I'm thinking it MIGHT be a little easier to tell once she gets a little bigger...maybe not, but I suppose we'll see

We got Bailey when he was 6 weeks old and he was 7 pounds, and the guy who was giving the pups away guestimated their weight to be no more than 30 pounds. Well, he's gained 3 pounds in 2 weeks and looks like he'll now be a minimum of 40 and possibly 50! It's gonna be great when he's full grown and he and Toby (the minpin) still play like they do now!

no kidding??!

well honestly...I kinda hope she gets bigger I love dogs I can roughouse with, and I get nervous when I play with smaller dogs b/c I don't want to hurt them by accident! Duffy (my lab that passed away recently) was about 85 lbs and the PERFECT size to run around and "roughhouse" with.

Dakota's paws aren't anywhere near as big as Duffy's where when he was a pup, but she does have a little growing room. I think the pics make her paws look bigger then they really are though, lol

puppy pictures!!!!

i've debated often getting Sabrina a playmate, but I just don't know if I can handle it...and also Sabrina likes to cuddle a lot. What if I got another dog that likes to cuddle? That's TWO dogs hogging the bed

^^omg you have NO idea! Not that I wouldn't have loved a bearded dragon...but I'm absolutely amazed at how much happier I am now that I have a little FLUFFY 4-legged friend that doesn't cuddle up next to me simply because she's exothermic and needs the heat!

I gave her her very first bath yesterday...lol, poor girl is even fluffier today!!

^Hmm...lets see what other puppy pics I can come up with (lol even though I should REALLY be focusing on my work!)

^ that's hard to do with a flash. I'd recommend going outside in the sun so you don't have to use it. dog and cat eyes glow really badly because of that film that helps them see in the dark

you probably already knew all that

hehe yeah...I've been trying to open up the blinds to let some natural light in the room, but it isn't enough to warrant turning the flash off.

I'll get some pics of her outside...but its so dreary and cold right now that I think staying in the warmth of the house takes precedence

once it warms up a bit you can let her go frolic on the dunes - now those will be some priceless pics! just don't let her slide too much!

(I really need to head to the outer banks sometime...when it warms up, of course)

aha I hadn't thought of the dunes...oooh good thinking! you're right, it is a bit chilly out (and windy today!) but when it gets warmer I'll be all geared up for priceless puppy pics! If you ever head out this way let me know...I'm sure Dakota would like to make a new friend!
