How long can you access webmail after graduation? I graduate in 8 days! I am working on my resume & am wondering if I should just use my yahoo. I feel like it would look more professional to have my ncsu.edu at the end. Anyone know the answer?

as long as you actively use it they usually don't cancel it even after you graduate for quite some time - get a gmail account

its not webmail, just a forwarding address, but it accomplishes your goal of looking more professional

First, CONGRATS on graduating. I've got a semester + 1 summer to go

Second, go here: https://www.alumniconnections.com/olc/pub/NCS/register.html

it will work like 3 months after graduation
I guess it depends on how soon you expect to hear from the people you send it to.

It does look more professional to have ncsu on your resume. Reports are generally 6 months after you graduate you will be sent a note that your email will be deactivated. In that note, they'll ask you if you want to setup a "forwarding" account for 1 year, which will send all of your email to another email account. I.e. You still have it sent to your @ncsu account, but it actually ends up in a yahoo inbox.

Also, consider setting up outlook express or outlook 2003 with your email accounts.

I graduated Dec. 15, 2004, and I still have access to my webmail account.

But I did get an email in February that said my access would be cut off in May. It just never was, and I've been able to sign in with no problems.

I had mine for at least 6 months, but you can sign up for an alumni account and have everything forwarded to your yahoo or anything email account you wish.
