The Thin Red Line was WWII and great I thought.Other than World War movies I actually liked The Patriot (Revolutionary War) pretty good.

Saving Private Ryan,We were Soilders,Enemy at the gates,Full Metal Jacket,Apocalypse Now,Platoon,Band Of Brothers,Braveheart,Troy,Windtalkers is the worst movie I have ever seen simply because it failed at so many levels. I would watch almost anything over that.
