i loved it when Saddam made the judge look like a total douche bag the other day before he dismessed the court until december for a break.
12/5/2005 6:35:41 PM

12/5/2005 6:47:29 PM
correct me if i'm wrong but wasnt that initial dismissal to decemeber due to the fact saddam's lawyers went missing/were killed? the dismissal wasnt for a break, ie vacation.
12/5/2005 8:06:08 PM
haha i bet thats what they called it in all the muslim countries news stations
12/6/2005 1:33:16 AM
you may only be able to get high res shots of photojournalism stuff by contacting them directly.but then, you'd have to explain that you weren't going to republish it and stuff.-ZiP!-

Why do I want to find a high res. version of it?I find the image very moving. This is concluding one of my earliest interest/experience with politics in memory, witnessing a complete turnaround of U.S. policy towards Saddam. He's like a forever caged fight dog being poked through the bars. This charismatic, ex-dictator on a puppet court, and we all get to watch it (only some of us care I suppose). Here's the best picture I've found so far:Ahmet

^ I agree. That picture is perfect for a history book.
12/6/2005 2:21:08 PM

12/6/2005 4:54:34 PM

12/6/2005 5:45:18 PM
im trying to understand your last sentance a few posts up but it doesn't make sense

Bush isn’t the smartest man in the world by any stretch (not everyone can have illegitimate children) but to compare him to Saddam is fucking stupid. You might want to pick up and preach communism while you are reading out of your "Every 13 year old knows society" politics book.
12/6/2005 6:14:48 PM

you are right quinn, saddam is 10 times better than bush ever will be. my mistake. maybe i should compare bush to dog shit.and lets not 'preach' but politics or anything else...you're american...enough said.[Edited on December 6, 2005 at 8:52 PM. Reason : fda]

you probably won't be able to find a publicly available high-res version. newspapers have access to a huge AP photo database and have to pay per use, it's all kinds of weird.
