and another thing on gameday they just said usc has already clinched the pac10s bcs bid? how is that so? if ucla wins they will both have 1 loss and ucla has the head to head. stupid pac10

EXCEPT THEY WOULDN'T BE THE ONLY 7-1 TEAM.cough* OREGON *coughAnd USC would have the tiebreak between the 3, not 2[Edited on December 3, 2005 at 12:29 PM. Reason : ][Edited on December 3, 2005 at 12:45 PM. Reason : durr]

the keywords were "if" and "somehow." don't be a dick

Where the hell are you getting 9-1 from?USC is 7-0, UCLA is 6-1, and Oregon is 7-1. If UCLA wins that puts all 3 at 7-1. USC would have beaten Oregon but lost to UCLA, UCLA didn't play oregon but beat USC. [Edited on December 3, 2005 at 12:42 PM. Reason : ]

first of all, if there's a clause it's certainly not the Pac-10 who made it, it's the stupid BCS. And anyway it would be pretty fucking stupid because the Rose Bowl would basically be a home game for USC as well.I was debating going to the UCLA/USC game today but I don't feel like listening to a bunch of reject Trojan morons yell and scream and try to cause fights....they're a bunch of thugs....all of em

Actually, the Pac10 & every other conference has their own tie breaking procedures for determining champions. BCS just takes the team that the confernce says is champion. The Pac10 is fixing the unbalanced schedule next year though, so that everyone will play everyone else.

^yea it would be multiple team bc of oregon
12/3/2005 1:48:06 PM
If the above points system is used for multiple tied teams, USC and UCLA are the 2 remaining teams. Since UCLA would have beaten USC they should get the nod. Or at least that's the way I understand it. But that's a big IF and I doubt UCLA will pull the upset.hmm. Maybe I was wrong. By that formula USC would have 40, UCLA and Oregon would have 36. So whichever one of those would be with USC. If UCLA, UCLA would get the nod. If oregon, USC would get the nod. wow. wtf. This shit is just too confusing. [Edited on December 3, 2005 at 2:29 PM.
