lots of TA's don't really enforce the attendance policy. But, you'd be wiser to attend.

i think officially all 100 and 200 level classes in every department are supposed to take attendance. however...my ma241 and 242 classes(and a lot of other 200 level classes) didn't take attendance. its hit or miss as to whether or not your prof does...check out school tool and someone may have mentioned something in their class review

you are smarter off to go to class than to not go to classwow it really does sound that dumb to say that

my 241 didnt, but that was 4 years ago

why don't you just go to class? that's what you or someone else is paying for you to do

haha, she's got you there.

Well I’m guessing you asked a stupid question to get a response. The reason some people get angry about going is they have already covered and are more then sufficient at the material. It’s like watching the same murder mystery every single fucking day MWF for a semester. All in all it might be for the best to go, there is something to be said for those few years you get to feel smart.

I had already taken it in high school and my college calculus class didn't require attendance. I never came to class and made an A+.
