"Thanks for your e-mail about The Nintenedo Dual Screen in the 2005 Holiday Catalog. The ad is a misprint, as the price in the system should be $129.99. However, Target is honoring the ad price of $99.99 if you are able to bring in a copy of the catalog. If you have any trouble at the store, have them call us at (800) 440-0680 and we will be able to assist you then. Keep in mind the catalog price expires on December 12th, 2005.

We always welcome your questions, so if we can assist you in the future, please contact our Target Guest Relations team at (800) 440-0680. You can also speak with a team member at the Guest Services Desk at your local Target store, or visit us on Target.com. Either way, we’re here to help!

Thanks for shopping with us. I hope we’ll see you again soon at Target. "

Have the manager call the number if he/she balks at giving you the price.

Damn that is pretty awesome. I already have a DS but if I didn't I would really appreciate it that you found and posted it.

the price was posted in their online catalog also. the image above is a screenshot of that (now deleted) online posting.

Like I said, I was able to buy three DS systems as gifts just an hour ago - not sure how long it will take them to start demanding the printed catalog.

forum posts are already starting to report a lot of stores that are declining to accept a printout of the online site... they're demanding the actual flyer that got mailed out

however, I believe CC and BB are still price-matching to the print-out so if target declines, try them.

I remember I was in Target last year with a buddy and he was looking to buy a ceiling fan for his new place. There were some ceiling fans put in the wrong place (not just 1 in the wrong place, about 10 in the wrong place) and they were listed as 19.99.. the actual price was almost 50 bucks...
we showed the manager and he honored it, but said he was limited to purchasing 1 for that price. so he got the fan for $20 something. Pretty nice deal.

I was in a Babbage's once, and they had a game that should've been $19.99 marked as $1.99. I was eight or nine at the time, and it was AWESOME.

They're still honoring this and if you know someone with an employee discount you can get them to use that so it's even cheaper

Too bad the DS sucks. I wouldn't even waste my time. I wish they would have made this mistake with the PSP. That's a real handheld right there.
