I had him and I did pretty well in his class, but only because I had taken early American History like 5 times since middle school. He is close to being one of the worst teachers at State. He used to harrass this one girl in my class and said that it didn't matter what he did because he was tenured. I second staying away from his classes.

i did horrible because he never read my term paper and just wrote a grade on it and comments

and when I looked at his comments I clearly showed him where such and such had been addressed

he told me "these are my rules"

what the fuck is that

I had him for ... I think Constitutional History.. and it was God awful. I agree WHOLELY with this thread.

Ok this didn't make sense when I took his class two years ago.

I got an A on the Annotated Bibliography assignment and a B- on my paper that I had edited at least five dozen times to get it right. And it was on the siege at Fort Sumter and he even edited it a few times.

UGH!!!!

I've had similar experiences... I hate this man with a passion and NCSU should fire him... Actually the similarities to the experiences listed above are uncanny:

ie. used the exact same sentence on me, "these are my rules," and "this is my policy." also said I didn't mention things in my final paper that I pointed out to him, and I guess since I made him out to be a dumbass fool, he just used his good 'ol tenured line on me: "this is my policy."

I don't wish death upon anyone, but this man seriously needs to somehow become unemployed by NCSU... He must have the worst rating out of any teacher ever...
