Uh why is the front end off?...Please tell me you dont have to remove all that to do a timing belt [Edited on November 29, 2005 at 5:34 PM. Reason : durrrrrrrrrrrr]
11/29/2005 5:34:25 PM
yes you do.
11/29/2005 5:53:26 PM
you still have a few parts to take off before you get to the timing belt... keep working.[Edited on November 29, 2005 at 6:19 PM. Reason : it takes like 10 minutes to pull the bumper off.]

if its one job ive hated to do in the past its an audi timing belt, water pump when i first became a tech. god it sucked
11/29/2005 6:20:07 PM
pulling the front end was pretty easy
11/29/2005 6:27:53 PM
Damn that still seems like a major PITA. Sounds like you got it under control though. Good luck with the rest of it man.
11/29/2005 7:21:48 PM
yes pulling the front end off is simple, the bumper is fucking rediculously easy, cant remember doing an A4 but on A6 you dont really have to take the whole radiator support assembly all the way off. hope getting the belt back on isnt as much of a bitch as the a6's are
