Tool.
11/26/2005 12:40:21 AM
I wouldn't hold my breath....all I know is that they are working on a new album. When will it be out? No fuckin clue.
11/26/2005 12:55:10 AM
But will it rock hard? Hell fucking yes.
11/26/2005 1:46:18 AM
I hope it's more like aenima then lateralus
11/26/2005 2:42:31 AM
i hope its a good mix of both, i enjoyed lateralus almost just as much as aenimalateralus = acid tripaenima = high on cocainelateralus + aenima = some fucked up shiit
11/26/2005 10:12:29 AM
those "rumors" have been going for almost two years haha. it probably won't be out before next summer (just a guess). we will probably get a live album or DVD before the new album gets released. the new album will most likely not sound like any of their previous albums.i hope they continue to take their time and get it right instead of forcing an album out just to release something like a lot of bands.good things come to those who wait - i think that's gonna apply here so i am willing to wait.

A description from John Ziegler (who works with Danny Carey): Pink Floyd - Meddle meets "Black Sabbath - Master Of Reality meets King Crimson - Discipline meets Undertow.......pretty fucking killer mix of sound

this is good news. The last rumor I'd heard was that Maynard had found Jesus and was done with Tool. Seems like that was bullshit, so good.
11/26/2005 1:42:50 PM
LOL more like buddha
11/26/2005 2:51:38 PM
^^ I am pretty sure that was a confirmed joke. This CD has been "about to come out" now for quite some time... hopefully it will prove to be worth it.
11/26/2005 3:12:07 PM
yeah, it didn't really make much sense, given Maynard's past... but it was still worrisome.

they're headlining the coachella festival april 30th, and they've signed to do a european festival in july. So hopefully coachella will be the kickoff of a US tour (or atleast a warm-up) with a little trip to europe in july. if you haven't seen tool live, i highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed
2/2/2006 2:30:50 PM

2/2/2006 7:59:13 PM

might be the first legit review of the album. some of the descriptions are kinda sporadic and not well written like he wrote it in a hurry. doesn't really tell you much but at least it's something.http://forums.totalrock.com/viewtopic.php?t=4368username: tdubpassword: wolfpack
