All of you ignorant Duke haters need to watch some college basketball. Drexel is for real...flame me all you want for that, but they WILL be a sleeper in the tournament. If you watched college basketball you would have seen that UCLA beat Drexel by 1 point...UCLA almost beat Memphis...Memphis almost beat Duke. It's college basketball and the #1 ranking is meaningless just like the margin of victory. A win is a win is a win...just ask USC how much the small margin of victory against Notre Dame has affected their season.

and how did memphis shutdown jj? by putting freak carney on him and helping off dockery leaving him wide open. you usually wont be able to do that against dockery (44%3s last year) he was the 3rd guy looked to to score today and struggled from 3 even took a 3 with a wideopen lane to the bucket. he did step up and hit that last big one but you guys are ignoring the fact that demarcus nelson is a key part of this team who will be back at some point. hes the 3rd scorer

Here is another statement any one can call me out on...

This is based solely on my basketball eye and knowledge and has nothing whatsoever to do with Duke bias, but...

Greg Paulus will be a top 5 Duke point guard if he stays 4 years...he has the defense, leadership, vision, ball handling skills, and smarts to put him top 5 by the end of his career. I also know what kind of offensive player he is and that will come as his role in the offense increases...that is all.

A tough 3 point win when missing an integral part of your team, having your star player shut down in the second half, and having poor shooting from everyone except Sheldon Williams is worth much more than winning by 25 points with everything going your way...see March if you think that argument is flawed.

Texas and UConn have had tough games too and I don't discredit their ranking or ability...you have to remember what the ranking is based on...it isn't always the best team at the moment...

Again I call out reading comprehension, I never said Drexel lost by no less than 10, I said Drexel never allowed the game to get no further than a 10 point lead for Dook. Therefore that was not a quote on the margin of victory, instead a commentary on game flow through the entire game.

I don't really won't to argue this any further, I agree with PackBacker that Dook, is a overated, while I think they are a top 15 team, I don't see them as a number one team for too much longer.

What happens this year when SheWill gets into foul trouble this year in the first half of a game and has to play soft for the entire second half or worse yet the ref's call him for a foul five times? Or same scenario with JJ, allowing teams to get away with double teaming SheWill. Depth is going to hurt them badly, and all this March talk with this and that, depth is a big factor in March, because you always have that game in the dance where the 6, 7, 8 guys have to step up BIG TIME. Macaroni? Botang? Erik Meeks? Greg Newton? I must be missing something here. Before people say JJ had an awful second half and still won, I say that just freed up SheWill even more, did Memphis ever double team him, at last productively?
