http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/ladyinthewater/Looks maybe about mermaids or water-ghosts, or ghosts of mermaids or something. I don't know. Weird.

I saw the trailer for this and I laughed when it said "M. Night". This movie looks like turd. He looks like turd.
11/24/2005 5:37:38 AM
I've liked his movies so far (The Village is lowest on the list though).

11/24/2005 10:30:35 AM
I saw the trailer attached to Harry Potter and it was so bad I vomited twice.
11/24/2005 10:37:40 AM
has a director ever had such a steady decline in work?
11/24/2005 10:39:39 AM
I like his movies, and I'm excited for this one.
11/24/2005 10:41:09 AM
he should have changed his name for this one so people thought someone else was doing it..then after they saw the movie and liked it, he could reveal he really made the movie and see how many people didn't like it anymore
11/24/2005 10:42:25 AM
WHAT A TWIST!
11/24/2005 10:59:43 AM
did he steal this one from a book too?
11/24/2005 11:03:36 AM
i hate all of his movies because the plot has nothing to do with the action

11/24/2005 1:44:50 PM
hes a hack
11/24/2005 1:52:26 PM
the village was actually a good movie if you saw it for free
11/24/2005 1:53:31 PM
i pretended the "twist" at the end wasnt supposed to be a twist, so i didnt think it was too bad.
11/24/2005 2:41:19 PM
I forgot to add that Signs sucked. I hated that movie. But, the twists are all fairly figure-out-able if you're looking for them. If they weren't, they would make zero sense at all (which wouldn't be logical for something based on how things work in reality).

it's not the water that killed them, it's the flouride and chlorine
1/22/2006 12:41:52 AM
interesting...Giamatti looks like the big plus to this film. I love that guy's acting.
1/22/2006 1:14:45 AM
he'll always be 'pig vomit' to me
1/22/2006 1:41:25 AM
1/22/2006 5:26:03 AM
ah, but outside sources were at work with himm.night doesn't have madonna to blame his downward spiral on
1/22/2006 11:29:31 AM
if i hear that this movie doesn't have a twist ending, i'll see it.
1/22/2006 12:03:29 PM
but what if that's the twist?
1/22/2006 12:35:35 PM
Lose/lose situation

1/23/2006 4:13:42 AM
1/23/2006 4:21:37 AM
Here's the twist, the woman is not a woman at all, she's a man!Oh wait, that was The Crying Game.
1/23/2006 4:22:57 AM
1/23/2006 6:40:56 AM
My prediction is that the woman is really Dr. Phil out to change the superintendant.
1/23/2006 8:39:42 AM
^^Although....maybe Shamalan has caught onto the fact that people now expect twists from his movies. So it maybe possible that the twist is that it's a completely different twist, thus throwing the audience for a loop. A twist in of itself, no?But maybe I give Shamalamadoong too much credit.
1/23/2006 12:19:27 PM
ITS A TWIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1/23/2006 12:43:57 PM
My prediction is that the story is actually taking place on the surface of the Sun and the swimming pool is actually a super spacecraft and the woman is an astronaut.
