it was determined today that it would be cheaper to replace my furnace than for the parts for it.so the home warranty company is paying for the replacementI couldn't find it online but does anyone know how much one would cost (natural Gas furnace)btw the great part is I get a new furnace after 2 weeks of "repairs" have not workedthe bad part is it may be till January till it gets installed!!!!!

I'd get a space heater until then and make the warranty company pay for the elevated electricity bill

Call your local HVAC company and get a quote.

when you get a quote for the new system, see if you can pay the difference on a better one.i'd reccomend one that has a power humidfier/dehumidifier and HQ air filter (preferably washable HEPA quality), you'll notice a HUGE difference in air quality (if you ever intend on having kids in that house or have allergies) with a minimal change in energy use.plus you don't have to buy the $$$$$ disposable filters from lowes.
