I don't know if this is old news (i don't spend that much time on TWW and i'm too lazy to use the search) but I thought some of y'all might be interested in seeing these pictures...

For those of you that don't know, those are 14 of the most desirable Ferrari's ever made and many avid Ferrari collectors are lucky if they have just one of those cars. That collection is worth over $20 million. In the early 1990's a 250 GTO sold for $15,000,000, they're worth around $7.5 million now. In 2002 a 330 TRI/LM sold for $6.5 million. A 250 GT LWB California Spyder (also known as the Ferris Bueller's day off car) was purchased for $1.25 million last year. And that's just 3 of his Ferraris. The rest of the older Ferraris are each worth in excess of 1 million dollars and the newer cars, though not as valuble, are still worth over $100,000 each (some well over 100k) and are still very desirable automobiles.

He doesn't own a 308. I'm pretty sure the 512TR is the least expensive though. They go for around 100k.

I don't know why RL doesn't have an Enzo but i doubt Ferrari wouldn't "let" him buy one.

The Daytona's his low-key car, I'm sure.

if he is after rare and collectible ferraris, the only possible reason he would have a 308 if it was an actual car from the magnum p.i. show, and that dosent exactly fit with his collections theme

also, an enzo wouldnt fit in, yeah they are new and super expensive uber-ferraris, but even wyclef has one. not that special compared to the others.

The inclusion of the 355 instead of a 360 or 430 in this pic

means the pictures are probably at least a few years old, which would mean the Enzo didn't exist at the time.

also, you might've had to buy X-number of Ferraris NEW from Ferrari...most of those cars are old, and he probably bought them from other places.

What is that one in the picture with the 512, F40, and F50? Maybe a 288? I can't tell.

The picture of the four newer cars are not Ralph Lauren's. There is also no 355 in that pic. Its a TR, an F40, a 288 GTO, and an F50. When I get bored, I'll get you a link to the real owner of the newer cars.

I'm almost positive it's a 330 TRI/LM. The other pictures i found on the internet weren't identical to the one above but they were close enough to lead me to believe that that's what the car above is.

I actually questioned whether or not those were part of Ralph's collection. I got all of these pictures from the same page on this website that was labeled "Ralph Lauren's Cars" so I just assumed they were.

And I'm pretty sure that Ralph Lauren does not own an Enzo. Do any of y'all remember that show Rich Girls that came on MTV a few years ago that starred Tommy Hilfiger's daughter? Well in one episoped they showed Tommy going to pick up his Enzo, and I remember him asking the Ferrari dealer if Ralph had been to pick up his yet and the dealer said that Ralph didn't order one. But I really don't know if he owns one or not, that's all the information I have.

^I stand corrected. It is a Ferrari 250 TR that was driven by Phil Hill and won Le Mans in 1961.

Here are some more pictures of the car taken from the Ralph Lauren exhibition at the museum in Boston:

Its nice when all you see is engine without all of the electrical wiring and accessories you find in engine bays today. There is nothing more beautiful than 12 velocity stacks.

Ralph Lauren just has a knack for acquiring some of the most beautiful cars ever made. It's a theme that is consistant throughout his collection. If I was making the kind of money he is I would own every car he does plus a few (assuming I could get my hands on all of those cars). But the cars he owns are more than just automobiles, they're works of art.

Magnum PI started in 80, the Fiero didnt come out until several years later. Must be a Fiero in the show.
