I am having trouble with the following problem:I am using the energy equation with the point at the top of the tank to be point 1 and the point at the end of the nozzle to be point 2. My energy equation is as follows:P1/gamma + v1^2/(2*g) + z1 -hL= P2/gamma + v2^2/(2*g)+z2I am getting the P2=0, V1=0, z1=.7 and z2=1.9*sin(40)for my hL I am getting: hL=f*(l/D)*(V2^2/(2*g)) + kL*(V2^2/(2*g))I am then plugging this hL into my energy equation and then solving for V2. After that I am using Q=V*A to find the flowrate. Does anybody know where I am going wrong or what I am missing?
