There are tons of companies developing similar devices, and civilian survaliance is just one of the applications (and probably one of the least attractive or profitable)

didn't they have flying cameras in "Brave New World" thoughi need to reread 1984, because all through high school & college, it was my favorite of the two, but i reread BNW in 2004, and just loved it, so its my favorite now...
