i know we've had mario on the field for offense a few times as a tight end or something. with stone as the QB now, is it possible to have mario come in with stone at the helm since they're both #9? im guessing not, but does anyone know for sure?

I think so, I have seen two players on defense with the same number before, assume its the same for offense

can't both be in at the same time

You can't have two players on the field at the same time with the same number. It's okay to have two with the same number if they're on opposite sides of the ball (or just not in at the same time).

I'VE NEVER UNDERSTOOD WHY THE FUCK YOU NEED SO MANY PLAYERS ANYWAY

We could get the same results by eliminating the O-line...but then there's that damn seven on the line rule.

chuck has been asked this before in his press conference. mario would have to throw on a different jersey before going out there if stone was the QB and mario was going on offense.but it probably won't ever (shouldn't ever) happen..i don't like the idea of him on offense...too much risk for injury when he is more needed on defense[Edited on November 15, 2005 at 6:09 AM. Reason : yep]

we should have lined up mario across from kiwanuka and let them have a war

It can be done. They have to change jerseys for the play that both are going to be on the field. Mario would just switch. Two cant be on the field with the same number.
