find the promotional codes to buy them online.. get like $125-$130 in stuff for only $50.. but usually a service contract is required for those..

yea, i would do that, but it's for my father and he's going to be buying it sunday and need it in his posession on sunday. and i believe he's planning on getting a years subscription anwyay

I wouldn't buy a year up front. I had XM for a while and ditched it for an Ipod. XM ended up being the same as regular radio for me. I only listened to a few stations and had to keep bouncing around. Actually most of time I probably listened to the Comedy Channel.
