My company is having a raffle to raise money for Hurricane Victims that have relocated to Raleigh through Habitat for humanity. The information is below. Checks can be made out directly to HFH.

The following are the prizes that you can win:

Grand Prize

1. Trip to Pinehurst for two(3 days and 2 nights)including daily golf on(courses 1,3,4,5,6,7 or 8),breakfast and Dinner  (Value is$2800)

Other Prizes

2.     Dinner for two at the Cardinal Club
3.      Dinner for two at the Capital City Club
4.      Dinner for two at the Carolina Club
5.     Golf for four at Devils Ridge
6.      Golf for four at Lochmere
7.      Golf for four at the Neuse

Tickets for the Raffle are only $10 and only 500 will be sold so the odds of winning are pretty good. 

Again, all proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity for Hurricane Victims.

no, more along the lines of
i've given plenty, took part in some fundraisers (and will probably continue to do so in the ones at the college of textiles)

but i have seen one fundraiser for earthquake survivors, and their situation is by far more dire than folks who now have a place to live in a temperate climate.

that, and i can't give my time directly to earthquake relief.

There is a catch though, you have to get past some of the rednecks defending their homes from looting to claim your prize.
