if you're talking about tabs, its an open issue in their bug list

I'm not a firefox fan, but I think you can work around this by setting up the parallel connections
11/7/2005 2:55:04 PM
or just keep using IE

its not about the tabs, its in multiple windowssmoothcrim- yeah, I figured there had to be some way for Firefox to use more than one connection for EVERY FCKING WINDOW OPEN when you have like 30 Firefox windows open chilling, half of them with gay ass autorefresh ads causing your active browser to alternate between responding slowly and blocking entirely

when you consider the annoyance of IE's vulnerability (not due, mind you, to shitty coding, but the ubiquity of the platform) to malware, it becomes more trouble than it's worth. Oh, and the broken PNG implementation. For it's age, IE's ability to remain competitive is pretty incredible. There are still things you can only do in IE (hardware-accelerated transforms, for example), that are pretty slick. Just can't surf the web without extremely hostile web-based and exploit-based advertising getting in ur base and killing all ur doods system resources.to clarify: I started with Netscape 2.0... switched to MSIE on account of Netscape 4.0 being slower than a nigger leaving for work... stayed w/ MSIE for like 8 years, now I'm back at Mozilla/Nutscrape because MSIE is more annoyance than it's worth. Toyed with Konqueror briefly, but the incompleteness bugged me. Read about Opera, but at the time it cost money or something and that's definitely out of the question. If the shit doesn't come pre-installed I damn well better be able to Get Lucky with the app's name, fuck a credit card.[Edited on November 7, 2005 at 7:28 PM. Reason : *]

IE works great and stays 99.999% spyware/pop-up free as long as you keep it patched, keep your HOSTS file up to date, keep your list of blocked sites up to date, and fucking pay attention to where you go and what you click on when you're on the web.
